Performing Arts Summer Project Audition Date and Info
Tuesday, April 27 at 5:30pm at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts. Box office will open at 5pm.
Auditions are first come, first serve. No appointment in required. All level of skill encouraged to Audition!
Please bring sheet music in appropriate key and a short monologue. If you have no material just bring yourself, we will provide material at the audition.

*Please keep in mind that Performing Arts Programs, Inc. has not reviewed all of these resources and we would strongly recommend that an adult do so in making decisions in regards to the content of the Audition resource materials for their child(ren).
AUDITION TIPS
Before the audition
- Wear comfortable, presentable clothing
- Warm up your body and voice
- Arrive at least 15 minutes early
If you have one, bring:
- 1-minute monologue (does not need to be memorized)
- Song (16-32 bars/half a song)
- Resume and/or headshot
Auditioning with the right song
- Pick a song in your key
- Bring sheet music/CD (we will have a piano player/boombox)
- Have a second song prepared
- Ballads are generally better at showing off vocal skills
- Choose a song you love to sing
